Channel Villeneuve, Lindsay Spooner and Michele O'Leary all competed in the WKA Nationals in Montreal last Friday.

Channel won her first match by throwing non stop combos and moving forward on her opponent. She landed a lot of great powerful shots and won the match. Channel's next opponent came on very strong and attacked forward the whole time. Channel kept her composure and faught right to the end. Channel lost the bought, got changed and realized she had to fight the same girl again. Channel put her gear back on and listened very well to the coaching and got back in the ring with a strong mind set and went after the girl with everything she had!! Channel started using angles and attacking right way. This time Channel definately held her gound. She lost the match but won with her storng mindset and determination. Channel finished 2nd or 3rd overall.

Lindsay Spooner competed for her first time and did great. Lindsay overcame a lot of challneges to step into the ring but she chose to go with the right attitude.
Lindsay faught 2 hard rounds and landed a lot of powerful fast combos. She faught toe to toe with her opponent and didnt give any ground up.
Lindsay landed great lead and rear leg kicks and storng head punches. Lindsay finished by winning the Gold Medal and is ready for her next challenge.

Michele O'Leary faught a bigger, stronger opponent. Her opponent came in rushing forward with all she had. Michele kept her composure and worked on holding her ground.
Michele landed some great jabs to the face and lots of lead leg kicks both to the head and the body. Michele lost the fight but faught it out until the end.

Great job to all fighters!

Thanks to Gavin for coming out to coach.
