MAY MINI-UPDATE
This is what is happening during the month of MAY:
MAY 12: Night of Champions
Location : ST.Volodymyr Cultural Centre - 1280 Dundas
Street in Oakville, Ontario. Times: 9h30, 2h00 and 7h00 pm.
Registration deadline April 10, 2007. Please see Carianne.
MAY 12: 1st Annual Heather Cope Charity BBQ
Time: 11 am to 3 pm. Location: Preston Street close to
Carling Avenue (the corner of Preston and Sidney). This
event has many sponsors to date (for example, M&M meat
shops, royal lepage, Kelly Signs, Mortgage Brokers.com,
etc) We are asking for your support, your friends, family,
colleagues, business partners, clients and anybody else who
you think would be want to support this cause. ** All
proceeds to the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Clinic
MAY 19 & 21: CLOSED – There will be no classes (adults and
juniors) – Victoria Day weekend
MAY 26: Club Kickboxing Show (Full contact) - Brockville
Time: 7 pm - weighs in are at 4 pm. Location: Thousand
Island Secondary high school on 2510 Parkdale Ave.
Brockville, Ontario. Fee: $25 spectator fee (general
admission) Nomad Athletes: Rachelle Larabie, Micheal
Pembroke
MAY 26: Grant Brothers Boxing – Gala de boxe
Location: Arena de vaudreuil - 9 rue Jeannotte,
Vaudreuil-Dorion, Québec. Cost: $20 per ticket - Nomad is
selling tickets for this event - come to the office to pick
up your ticket before it sells out. Our own William "The
Hitman" Houtart will be fighting at this show!!
MAY 27: SPARRING WORKSHOP at Nomad Kickboxing.
12pm- 2pm: For Adult Beginners 2h30pm – 3h30pm: For
Juniors
4pm-6pm: For Adult Advanced Cost: $20 per adult – YOU
MUST HAVE ALL OF YOUR EQUIPMENT (Shin guards, Foot pads,
Gloves, Jock, Mouthpiece, and Head guard).
YOU MUS PRE REGISTER FOR THIS WORKSHOP. (pls go to the
nomad office or sign up on the message board)

1 - Next SPARRING WORKSHOP will be held in SEPTEMBER 30
2 – No classes on Monday, July 2
